Jupiter from Barbados - 5th/6th September 2009

This page has eight images all taken on the night of the 5th/6th September covering CM2 longitudes from 155° to 276° with the Great Red Spot (GRS) at CM2 = 138°. Here we see
the GRS just past the meridian in the first image with the Wesley scar just coming on; the scar is seen traversing the disk during the night. As the GRS leaves the disk, Oval BA enters the stage.
All images taken with a C11 and SkyNyx2-0M at f/37 with Astronomik type-II RGB filters. Frame rate was either 66 or 39 fps (depending on transparency). 50 seconds per channel. Images are presented with South at top and the following edge at right.
